"Writing the Sacred"

Crestone Mountain Zen Center
Friday - Monday
September 4-7, 2009

Come on an autumn retreat in a Buddhist temple, a well of quiet that stills the mind and leads to deep, magical work.  Crestone, Colorado, a tiny town at 8400 feet in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, is revered as a spiritual center, and Crestone  is very legendary in Zen tradition.  It was founded by Richard Baker-roshi, heir of Shunryu Suzuki, who wrote Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind.  See www.dharmasangha.com

Cost:  $395 ($380 if received by Aug. 15th).

Limited to 14.  $150 deposit.

This is a bargain! a price reduced from two years ago by both myself and the monks. I’m so happy to have this space offered to us by them

PLEASE LET ME KNOW by Aug. 23 if you can come.

Two half-cost scholarships are available, one for financial need, one for writing.  Please send me three pages of writing, or a one-page statement of financial need, by Aug. 23.

To hold a space for either the class or retreat, please send a deposit to me at 2529 Grand Overlook Drive, G.J., CO 81507. Please email or call 970.257-1498 with any questions.

Happy summering,

Sandy
